vearnc1963 Instant classic. Hard to choose a favourite because it's all great but I do especially love the spooky, wind-swept Phase Four. But then the more sequencer-led Phase Three is also fab. Favorite track: Phase Four.

There are so many different ways to look at Phases. Perhaps phases of the Moon, or phases of matter, they could be phases of life, or even phases of electric power.

Presented here are five selections from my evening playing for your listening pleasure and I make no pretence of them representing something deeper than that - they are just what I was playing on that particular evening. They are my own personal phases.

There is over 90 minutes here and there are likely some similarities in sounds and structures here as they were all played quite close to each other. Whilst I hope that this release has something of “my sound”, I was playing with some new instruments so the feel may be slightly different at times.

There is a companion to this release ("Different Phases"). It's made up of the more ambient pieces and is a beatless experience, so be warned. It's released via The Ambient Fish Society, and you can find it here:
