Gorgeously rich synth chords and fluty synth melodies slowly, very slowly developing, in the great tradition of Klaus Schulze, until the tension breaks with a cascade of complex, overlapping sequencer rhythms, propulsive (esp. in Memory 2) like a bullet train. Thanks for the memories… Indeed. Favorite track: Memory 3 (aka Iris).

Dennis Muijs I like sequencing and this is also very atmospheric on this album. My favorite tracks are Memory 1, 2 and 3. Great album!

This collection brings together four brand new tracks, and one track that has appeared elsewhere, but that has been remixed for this release.

I could name each track properly, but honestly I just play what I'm feeling, or thinking about at that time, so the best names would be a little strange. Instead, you can enjoy a series of memories, which is of course what they are for me now, and will be for you soon.

So first the brand new tracks: "Memory 1" and "Memory 2" are sequencer workouts, which were quite fun to play. "Memory 5" is an ambient piece and I decided to put that one at the end so that you can enjoy it in a different way (try it with the lights off, for example), or just skip it altogether. "Memory 4" is unissued, but it's a bit older and was me playing with a virtual Kawai K1 - and out popped a very interesting set of sounds.

Finally, "Memory 3" is the track "Iris" from the Cyclical Dreams "Gemstones" compilation, but I did a spot of gentle remixing to make it sound a bit smoother.

This is my 49th release and I'll probably spend a bit of time thinking about something for the 50th. So, enjoy this one for now.
