about

This album is made up of a number of live improvisations in the studio, each of which was designed to sound as though it was performed as part of a Cathedral Tour.

For this album the individual pieces have been woven together with some extra bridging pieces, all of which were improvised live and recorded whilst the tracks transitioned into each other.

There are four pieces in the main section and two in the encore, then there is a bonus that was a first take with a very different sequence to the one that was used. The original titles are shown for reference.

This album is called "live" as it's as close as it could be in the studio, with only the minimum amount of "pre-work" on sequences, etc. Consequently, there are some interesting moments to be heard.
