A Message from the Future

about

This is something a bit different. It is 100% live, although I had to bring in the sample that I'd created beforehand, but apart from that every note is as it was played.

I elected to use quite a "big" reverb to provide cover as I was moving between things and playing with the sounds. This has its good points and its bad points. Also, as it's live, it took me a while to move between the various sounds and keyboards (there were a lot of changes), and sometimes the odd click and pop may appear as I'm playing with things. Just think of those as part of the message.

Try to listen quietly, maybe with some headphones, and relax. Let the message filter through - apparently, everything will be OK.

This piece was part of one evening's improvising - it was the second piece. You can find the first piece here: theambientfishsociety.bandcamp.com/album/a-message-from-the-past
